CONTAMINATION
The cannabis industry is inherently plagued by biological contamination such as fungus, mold, mycotoxins and bacteria.
Regretfully, even with state limits on levels of contamination, much of the cannabis on dispensary shelves still poses serious health risks to consumers.
DEGRADATION
Cannabinoids and terpenes begin degrading immediately after harvest with terpenes losing up to 20% potency every 30 days. Conventional packaging does NOT protect the quality, potency and shelf life of cannabis.
REMEDIATION
It is generally recognized that cannabis is best if it does not require remediation.
Regretfully however, much of the flower sold in the US requires remediation to meet state safety guidelines.
Most cannabis today is decontaminated using irradiation, but unlike the food industry, irradiation isn't disclosed to consumers. Many consumers reject the use of irradiation and prefer alternative methods.

Our proprietary, modified atmosphere packaging is a "Zero-Oxygen" solution to safeguard flower, ensuring an extended shelf-life up to a minimum of 12 months. "Zero-Oxygen" packaging is available in bulk (1LBS -10 LBS). *Consumer packaging may be available in select states.
In a competitive market, freshness is important. Traditional packaging like turkey bags, mylar ziplock bags, and "terp-locking" bags can allow oxidation and deterioration of terpenes and cannabinoids, negatively impacting potency, aroma and quality.
*Zero-Oxygen” refers to atmosphere that is less than .02% oxygen.
